Proposals to change the zoning of 125/127 Red Hill Road are in the process of being prepared by KIP 20 LLC, the new land owner, who has already demolished the historic structures on this land and already changed the nature of the gateway to Holmdel.
These have not yet been publicly released but millions of dollars have already been spent on acquiring the property, demolishing existing structures and cutting down trees, and many thousands on preparing hundreds of pages of submissions to the township Zoning and Planning Boards.
The Urbanski Family has owned and worked the farm at Red Hill Road immediately adjacent to this property for four generations. We have always strived to retain the rural and agricultural character of our land, which has become a haven for wild animals due to our practice of organic sustainable nursery farming. We also live on this property, are active in the community, and send our children to our schools.
This development will directly affect our land, and that of the people who reside on neighboring streets. We are asking you to support us in opposing this shocking change of use for five acres of land that greet all visitors to our unique town.
